There is much interest these days in dreams and visions. We offer this section as a beginning aid to assist those whose are interested. If you have had a dream and would like to contact us, we have a team available for interpretations.
Hearts of kings are changed with dreams.
The greater clarity of God's message to you, the greater it will cost you. The more obscure the message, the less the cost.
Dreams are God's night parables. They tend to be more symbolic than literal.
Visions are mostly literal, some symbolism.
Dreams are a call to action. If you do nothing, why should he send another?
To receive revelation our spirit must be in a place to receive (Eph. 4:14 and 23-24) We must be righteous and grieve not the Holy Spirit with evil-speaking, bitterness, anger, wrath or malice. When we are not in agreement with the Spirit, revelation stops. It is imperative to keep peace in your household.
You can control how much is said, the way it's said, the timing of it, procedure, etc. We are responsible for our level of credibility. We are responsible if we cheat.
You have to wait on the favor of God and men. It will come only in its own time.
Be sure to write your dreams down as soon as possible.
SPHERES OF DREAMS
Extrinsic: are dreams about something or somebody other than ourselves. This would include people, nations, cities, and churches. These typically comprise only one to five percent of most people's dreams.
Intrinsic: are dreams that have to do with ourselves, our own personalities, or events that shape our lives. This type of dream will most often deal with heart issues and our relationship or lack of relationship to God. Heart issues deal with our personal longings, opinions, emotions: the things of our own soul. Intrinsic dreams may also include things of a predictive nature that may one day happen to us.
Daniel 2:30 "But as for me, this secret has not been revealed tome because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but that you may know the thoughts of your heart."
The more intimate your relationship with God, the more extrinsic dreams you'll have.
TYPES OF DREAMS
Healing: can encompass physical, emotional and spiritual. This type of dream results in forgiveness and love towards those whom you may have ill feelings.
Flushing: Many people have had dreams in which they do strange things such as romantically kissing a brother or sister or a member of the same sex. These dreams can be very confusing. Flushing dreams "shower off" day-to-day spiritual encounters with such as demons of sex, sexual perversion, violence, anger, etc. Apparently, because they are exposed in the dream, these spirits lose their ability to grip you. The dreams we have simply "shower" these things off. We don't have to partake in anything to get soiled.
Calling: Reveals the anointing, vocation or ministry to which one may be called.
Warning: Do just that -- warn us not to do certain things.
False: Not every dream comes from God. There are dreams that come from Satanic sources or attack. Dreams also arise from our own emotional dilemmas. If a dream violates scripture, it could not be from God.
Body: created by our own body that is outside of normal. Particularly caused by illness or pregnancy. Give these little regard.
Chemical: caused by drugs of any kind. Most anti-depressants suppress dreams. So will too much alcohol.
Self-condition: tell you where you stand with God, including problem areas that need addressing. Courage: give us courage to do something unusual.
Direction: give us direction in a particular area or circumstance.
Intercessory: directs prayer
Prophetic: things to come.
Dark: reveal the plans of Satan. These dreams tend to be black and white or gray scale; muted colors. It is not unusual for the dream to seem pleasant.
Spiritual Warfare: Let you know you're in a war. Don't give in.
Fear: Reveals what could take root and harm us. That which I have feared has come upon me.

The first thing you do is ask God for the interpretation.
Develop a dream vocabulary list. What do certain symbols mean to you? Is a dog a friendly or hostile symbol to you?
All symbols must be interpreted without violating scriptural principles.
Reduce the dream to its simplest form.
Where are you in the dream?
Watching
Participating -- you probably have something to do to resolve the interpretation.
Or the focus of the dream.
What feeling were you left with at the end of the dream?
Focus on color, texture, smells, etc. What objects or utensils were involved?
FOUNDATIONAL ELEMENTS OF DREAMS
I. Color
A. Amber: glory of God (Ez. 1:4, 8:2)
B. Black: sin, death, and famine (Lam. 4:8; Rev. 6:5, Jer. 8:21)
C. Blue: heaven; Holy Spirit (Num. 15:38)
D. Crimson/Scarlet: blood atonement; sacrifice (Isa. 1:18; Lev. 14:52; Jos. 2:18,21)
E. Purple: kingship; royalty (Jn 19:2; Judges 8:26)
F. Red: bloodshed; war (Rev. 6:4, 12:3; II Kings 3:22)
G. White: purity, light, righteousness (Rev. 6:2; 7:9; 19:8)
II. Are the persons involved male or female?
A. Age of people in the dream?
B. Leadership?
C. Friend?
D. Pastor?
E. Familiar person or stranger?
F. Trusted or not?
G. Aggressive or friendly? Your emotions and theirs.
H. Amorous or sexual encounter?
III. Was there transportation involved?
A. Cars, etc. usually symbolic of a group or ministry.
B. Flying usually indicates a spiritual call.
IV. Were there buildings involved? What kind of buildings?
A. windows are symbolic of vision
V. What kind of clothing was worn?
A. shorts, swimwear, coats, etc.
VI. Was there a focus on any particular parts of the body?
VII. Were other creatures involved? Animals? Doing what?
A. Spiders: witchcraft
B. Piranha: people talking against you
C. Snakes: demonic attack and tale bearing
D. Eagle: royalty, power; seeing in distance and strength to destroy
E. Horses: power
VIII. Weather
A. What color was the storm, tornado, cloud etc?
B. What shape and size?
IX. Numbers
A. The simple numbers of 1-13 often have spiritual significance.
B. Multiples of these numbers, or doubling or tripling, carry basically the same meaning, only they intensify the truth.
C. The first use of the number in scripture generally conveys its spiritual meaning.
D. Consistency of interpretation. God is consistent, and what a number means in Genesis, it means through all scripture.
E. The spiritual significance is not always stated, but may be veiled or hidden, or seen by comparison with other scriptures.
F. Generally, there are good and evil, true and counterfeit, godly and satanic aspects to numbers.
